The Panther System is the result of our collaboration with 26 Times World Champion George Digweed MBE (Panther X6) and World Champion Max Michel (our latest introduction the Panther X7). We engineered the first generation of this frame system back in 2001 and launched the design into the market in 2002. The design directive from George was quite simple, “create a pair of glasses that is like not wearing a pair of glasses.” Since it’s introduction the Panther System has become the industry standard for the professional competitive clay shooter and in 2013 we engineered the Panther X System for the Competitive Archer. In 2015 we have launched the Panther X7 platform using an optical correct high wrap mask. All Panther systems use our proprietary PILLA VX lens science developed by ZEISS and are available in 3 different lens curvatures and sizes and have an adjustable nose bridge as a frame option.

The Panther for Archery was introduced to provide a visual picture of the target with no visual obstruction through the nasal part of the lens.
The Panther Series for Action Shooting was battle tested by World Champion Max Michel. This product was made for the fastest shooters in the World.
The X4 is a specific geometry to provide better fit for Asia. The frame is Base 4 and has less wrap.
The Panther X6 is a Base 6 Mask providing excellent coverage and view. The lens is easily snapped on off the frame. Progressive filtration available.
The Panther X7 is a Base 7 Model providing a significant level of wrap. The profile of the lens is shorter than the Panther X6.
New! Panther X7-C offers the Tactical lens shape for Progressive lenses- a larger lens from top to bottom so the shooter can use the full range of filtration change.
The "Post" model provides 10mm of vertical adjustment to the frame. This model is also required for prescriptive inserts. The temples are adjustable.
The Panther "No Post" frame provides a completely open visual experience. The nose piece is directly attached to the lens.
The Standard or "Straight" temple is a traditional temple design. Easily fits over the ear and under ear muffs.
The Cable temple is fully adjustable with 5 positions and the soft rubber cable wraps around the ear. There is no metal inside the loop for maximum comfort.
The Fork is the "X" platform and is fully adjustable with 5 positions to lengthen. This temple can also be changed to a cable.

The Panther Post Rx is a completely integrated solution for the those shooters in need of correction. This design will accommodate any level of corrective need. Pilla offers the following options if you choose for us to fill your prescription at the time of order:
Note: Inserts when in use with Plano glasses are designed to be held by the exterior mask on the left and right edges of the insert. As the insert touches the exterior mask it will leave over time a small thin line or abrasion mark in the exterior mask. This is not a defect.
Anti-Reflective - This coating reduces glare off the lens surface and is highly recommended with higher transmittance lenses and inserts.
Bifocal - Flat top bifocals, fit to the lens with a minimal registration of the bifocal so the “reader” does not get in the way of the athlete's vision.
Progressive - Multifocal lenses that accommodate both near and far sighted vision without seeing any line in the lens. Recommended only if you utilize progressive lenses in your everyday glasses or current sports glasses.
Hi-Index - This option reduces the weight and thickness of the lens in high corrective needs. It is necessary for individuals requiring a level of correction over +/– 2.00.
