Pilla has pioneered many industry-leading technologies in shooting and archery sports and continues to set the standards in those sports as well as action shooting, equestrian sports, and for aviation professionals. We have worked with the best athletes in these sports in order to formulate the correct color filtrations for each condition an athlete would face. Archery products end in an "A" and have lens filtrations shown that are created specifically for archers. "AS" for action shooters, "E" for equestrian sport professionals.

Lighting conditions create unique challenges for light management. Many glasses manufacturers have only a handful of filtration options in order to try to address the myriad of environmental conditions an athlete could face. At Pilla, we have over 40 different filtration options developed in partnership with ZEISS that can address conditions from direct sun to diminishing light and everything in between. We have designed filtrations for each relevant lighting condition for every sport to help you always have the right equipment to perform your best.
Most of our current line of lenses have the Chromashift technology integrated into the lens and paired with other filtrations sciences. Chromashift is a lens technology where we manipulate the visual representation of color to produce a more intense color profile and "Shift" the actual color of the intended target. This is a technology where we use special color dyes to produce faster registration of specific bands of color. Further Chromashift has the ability to change the way the eye sees color. The basic technical benefit is the manipulation of color for positive visual registration, allowing athletes to enjoy a very specific technical benefit of color shift for a competitive advantage.
Enhanced Definition lenses are a special filtration science where our engineers have enhanced the complete color spectrum to create a "balanced" color profile. The goal of the lens technology is to provide the athlete with crystal clear definition. The use of a universal color lift gives the eye a balance of color saturation to produce high resolution imaging. This combination of color resolution and color saturation gives the athlete an enhanced definition of the sight picture. "Everything you see is more vivid." For the athlete looking for an intense color profile with a natural reproduction of the visual environment this is a perfect series of lenses.
High Contrast Lenses utilize an accelerated filtration curve that produces a high level of saturation to provide definition to the edges of the intended target. We enhance the highs and the lows of color resolution. The ability of the lens to specify pieces of the visual light spectrum provides the High Contrast series of lenses a unique visual representation of color where darks are more amplified while enhancing the light elements of the sight picture at the same time. This dual nature of darker being darker and lighter being brighter gives the image a high contrast registration. This lens family provides exceptional depth of field for target shooting.
Max Orange is a lens family that is engineered to provide the athlete with up to 600% more boost in the Orange part of the visual spectrum. This is key for clay target shooters looking for maximum registration of target Orange. This lens family concentrates on a specific piece of the visual spectrum and accelerates the eyes registration of Orange. This gives an athlete the ability to acquire the target quickly and accurately while maintaining depth of field.
Pilla Zeiss "N" lenses harness a lens science which compresses color while allowing parts of the visual spectrum to be seen with vivid detail. The "N" family of lenses is engineered to "De-tune" green. This family of lenses is perfect for athletes needing to negotiate visual registration against green backgrounds.
This technology delivers a very vibrant color enhancement technology with new color pigments and coating science. While the lenses produce rich color enhancement, the coating technology produces a precise level of color lift and target registration for optimal performance. We have taken some of our top lens filters from the last 10 years and have introduced IR to these platforms. The result is a next level performance producing extremely crisp sight pictures. This new collection delivers light transmittance levels from full sun to low light.
The 10CED is a must have for bright light conditions. When you are needing to reduce the impact of direct suns in your eyes, the 10CED allows the eye to relax and achieve proper focal ability of the eye without squinting. This lens science uses the the Enhance Definition profile to produce rich color reproduction. This lens is designed to relax the eye in bright light conditions.
The spectral curve of this lens technology is an extrapolation of our Red High Contrast filter science with a new modified curve to balance an orange spike and suppression of green in a high light values. The technology is great for situations where there is filtered light through clouds or white light. The lens incorporates PILLA ZEISS ChromaShift Infra Red and our proprietary background neutralizer technology. This lens science works extremely well on orange and pink targets.
Our 18CED is a high light lens that is a great solution for shooters who recognize that management of light is critical for optimal performance. Our enhanced definition series provides elevated levels of the color spectrum to create increase definition and maximize depth of field. Having a family of lenses at various light transmissions give the Pilla shooter a significant tool maximizing optimal resolution in various lighting conditions.
This is a new darker purple with a red hue to neutralize green backgrounds and energize targets with our new IR tech. This lens has more bump in target orange than our current 20CN.
this is our new 26ED with Chromashift IR (this lens is an exceptional introduction to our ED family of lenses). This is an enhancement to the 26ED. This lens has a bit more amber in the lens and has a beautiful balance of overall color enhancement. The IR coating has a more pronounced golden ring around the lens for light management.
The new Raspberry Chromashift lens harnesses the filter of the Progressive Cherry in a Solid Filter delivery. This is the first true “Red” based lens Pilla has brought to the market with the ZEISS platform. If you are looking for a vibrant color enhancing technology that will make targets vibrate with clarity or sight in on driven Pheasant, the Raspberry lens is one for your kit. This is a full sun lens with vivid color enhancing capability. Perfect for shooing into blue skies and open fields.
This is our new 32MXB – this is a very vibrant lens that is an enhancement over the previous 32MXB. This accelerates the light wavelength of orange.
Pushing the visual spectrum to accelerate target orange in a transmittance value between our 24CMX & 44CMX was the objective and the result is spectacular. ZEISS and PILLA have created a very special lens that is precise and vibrant highlighting orange dome targets with amazing definition. This lens is for shooting in open areas and is a great all around lens. It is a complimentary lens to our CMX lenses using our ICE IR science with a touch more red to further enhance orange at 36% light value.

This new lens uses the 44N as a base while enhancing the filter efficiency of the color enhancing profile. This new spectral curve is delivered using Chromashift pigment technology to boost pink and orange while killing the green background in medium light.
Engineered to accelerate the resolution of Orange and Pink 600% while enhancing contrast of the target edges. Great registration of a black rimmed target and the under belly of a target. The perceptive illumination of light with this lens technology is superior to previous generations of the Max platform. The lens relaxes the eye but has the ability to provide the shooter with an extremely bright sight picture.
This is our new 50RHC – this is an evolution of the 50RHC which has been the best-selling lens historically for Pilla. This new 50 uses the IR tech and has a touch more red in the lens for higher attenuation of the color spectrum needed for target enhancement in medium light. This is a medium light lens where light is filtered through clouds but yellow in nature... not grey overcast.
The Strawberry filter is an extrapolation of our Red High Contrast filter science but infuses more pink. This is a great all around medium light lens. The Strawberry lens will be a great addition on the clays course and even in the field on live birds. This lens is nicely balanced and pushing contrast without manipulating color to a large degree.
This is a red-based lens harnessing Chromashift that elevates more contrast across the color spectrum with rich definition in the sight picture. This lens is a super medium light option. With more red we have enhanced the original spectral curve of the best selling Ballistx lens in the history of Pilla – the 50R.

The 55PWC uses both our Max Orange Technology and our Chromashift. The Peach color curve accelerates both Pink and Orange targets and even lime green. The lens pushes elements of the visual spectrum to produce rich color saturation for maximum detail while shifting the registration of the target color. This is a must have for the clay-target shooter.
This new Blood Orange lens is a hotter version of our “Peach” filter science using the newest ICE Infra Red Technology. Our peach filters have been one of the top selling lens filters we have produced over the past 10 years. This new filter curve bends the spectral color to accelerate more red and yellow. The result is a lens that is more intense in highlighting a variety of colored targets at a transmittance value that is darker than our 64CMX filter. This lens is also a super action shooting lens for medium light.
Juice target orange with straight ICE IR color lift. This new Persimmon lens is for medium to diminishing light conditions with more contrast elevating true definition in tougher grey light conditions. This lens increases the saturation of color illumination while crunching the edges of the target with contrast in the lower light values. An extremely bright lens that wakes up the eye.
A beautiful balanced lens harnessing our exclusive Pilla/ZEISS Chromashift technology, which has a strong bump in orange in diminishing light conditions. This is a great lens for all those that are looking for a very balanced experience with natural elevation of color in grey conditions.

SUPER BOOSTING ORANGE filters for maximum registration and lift of orange and pink targets. These high contrast lenses have rich definition and are extremely crisp. This lens uses our exclusive ZEISS pigment technology to provide exact filter color profiles that are formulated off spectrometer definitions of manufactured clay targets.
This new lens formulation blends the 66N and the 69MWN using the Chromashift coating found on our 18CED and 52CHC. This new filter profile has orange enhancement while using our green background neutralizer. The 67CWN is a great lens for those that would like a more subtle color boost while kicking back the background in medium to lower light.

Yes Loquat - not too many people know about this unique fruit but this is definitely one you will want in your kit. SUPER bright low light lens. This is a rock star flat light lens. The new ICE IR color lifting science brightens the sight picture for all shooting sports. The lens is tuned to enhance both clay targets or paper targets. This is a must have low light lens with superior anti-reflective coatings to reduce lens noise and splintered light.
This new solid filter uses the 76HC as a base while boosting color in low light. The lens is brighter in low light and benefits from the Chromashift pigment technology and has a new front side coating to reduce glare. This is a must have low light lens.
A new Chromashift low-light science. This lens is a crisp low light lens that produces a very natural color filter that enhances the total sight picture with a bump in target registration. If you have tried the watermelon lens - this is a lighter version of the filter with new color tuning for lower light.

The 98AR is the high transmittance lens Pilla offers. This is a new lens that is almost clear and has a very high performance Anti-Reflective technology on the backside of the lens.

Rich Balanced Color Registration. This is an excellent field lens on small game in full sun.
Target Orange will pop and provide solid target registration. This is also a good lens for shooters who are red/green color deficient.
